Think of a dreamy, nightfall atmosphere, sunset is near. Setting is a place built of creamy lavender and rose marble, with waterplays, basins with intricate patterning in the underwater tiles, archways of columns and illuminated hanging ironwork lamps spreading a warm glow in the rooms - THE place to relax, bathe, serve your beauty....surrounded by tropical exotic nature outside....All rooms are embellished with crystal and sparkling glass, here mimicked by Swarovskis and beads.

Adam & Eve Sampler
Adam and Eve are in the Paradise together with the animals - that lion looks cute with his mane of special stitches, sheep are blackworked "in the wool", a peacock is brocaded with silks and metallics, the snake is "over one" - the fruit tree beadwork - lots of Special Stitches and the use of many different threads makes this piece interesting in theme and materials.

A note about fibers...for any thread that lists a usage of .9 (skeins or cards) or more, we've added an additional skein/card of fiber to the kit. The thread usage listed on the materials list is for the number of stitches only. It does not allow for personal stitching styles, stopping and starting, waste, etc., so we believe that the additional skein will be needed. The Chatelaine Castle Sampler is Martina's "old" Anniversary Design from 2002 with which she celebrated 5 years of Châtelaine. The project has now ended and the design won't be released again until 2012.

Illuminated Medieval Sampler
Châtelaine Online Class IX features an ornate color-changing border as well as tournament columns, a Unicorn under an arch, medieval plants from an herb book as well as a Mandala-style garden with turf beads and herb ornaments. There are peacocks and a Lady with her Knight in Armour. An Alphabet with intricate gold overlay will be provided for your initials. Though you see the picture here on black, it can be worked on many different background colors.

Online Class XI features a Japanese Octagon Box with a landscape with Mount Fuji as well as Bonsai trees, and a seasonal change of trees in the landscape.
